Jack “Kach” Kachadurian (1969-71) gained 1,875 yards from scrimmage in three seasons (1,113 rushing), highlighted by breaking an 18-year old single-season rushing record with 778 yards over nine games in 1970. A tremendous receiver as well , he was third on the Seahawks with 14 catches for 265 yards in 1970.
Kachadurian was twice named the James Robb Trophy winner (1969, 1970), as the top offensive performer on Homecoming Day, and in 1970 was a UPI honorable mention All-American.
