Coach Minielli Announces Incoming Class of 2019

Wagner College head women's soccer coach, fresh off his eighth season with the Seahawks and 2014 Northeast Conference (NEC) Coach of the Year, Mike Minielli has announced the Seahawks' incoming freshman class of 11 student-athletes.
 
The Class of 2019 will join the Green & White on Grymes hill for the 2015 season. The newest 11 Seahawks come from throughout the United States. Eight hail from New Jersey, two from New York (Staten Island and Massapequa) and one from St. Louis, Missouri. The incoming class features six midfielders, three forwards, one defender and one goalie.
 
"I am very pleased and excited about the Class of 2019 coming in," expressed Coach Minielli. "This incoming class fills all of the needs that we feel needed to be addressed coming off of our successful 2014 season. These young ladies will fit in with our team right away both on the field as well as in the classroom. They are all outstanding students as well as soccer players. We are all looking forward to them joining us for the fall of 2015."

"Jacqie will play center midfield for us, she is a great ball winner and brings defensive force." 

Kristen Bischoff Forward

"Kristen is an accomplished goal scorer, we are looking to her to enhance our attack in the fall."

"Sandra can play up top or out wide, she has great speed with a good technical level."

The 2014 Seahawks finished with an overall record of 9-7-3, recording a program-best 4-1-2 mark during conference play, while qualifying for the NEC Championships for the first time since 1997.
