Ian Miller was named to the Rookie Level Appalachian League All-Star team as announced by the league office.
While playing for the Pulaski Mariners, Miller hit .297 while ranking among the league leaders in stolen bases (14), runs (30), OBP (.374) and hits (46)
before earning a promotion to the Everett AquaSox of the Class A Short-Season Northwest League. His 14 swipes were the most in the league at the time of his advancement on August 14.
Miller, who was
drafted in the 14th round of Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by Seattle in June, had a stellar junior season for Wagner in swiping a school and NEC-record 46 bases.
Since his promotion to Everett, Miller is hitting .333 (5-for-15) with four runs in five games.
