Before Wagner: Attended Rising Sun High School in North East, MD where he played a season of varsity baseball for the Tigers…. In 2018, he batted .560 while posting an on-base percentage of .586 and slugged .760… Was named All-County Player of the Year in addition to earning First-Team All-Conference honors and was a PBR First Team All-State selection… Son of John and Dawn Kampes… Has one sibling, Calen… His father played baseball and football for Lock Haven University… Planning to pursue a degree in Business Administration at Wagner.
