Made 18 appearances out of the bullpen to go along with one start in his first season on Grymes Hill… Posted a 3-2 record with a 5.67 ERA in 39.2 innings pitched… Struck out 27 batters for the season… Made his Wagner debut against North Carolina Central (February 18), throwing 2.2 innings of relief while recording three strikeouts… Made his first collegiate start at Stetson (March 7), tossing four innings, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out four batters… Fanned a career-high five batters over three innings of relief at Seton Hall (April 4)…. Registered a team-best two pickoffs in the regular season finale against Sacred Heart (May 18)….
CONFERENCE ONLY: Appeared in seven league contests… All three victories came in NEC play against one loss as he recorded a 3.50 ERA… Tossed 18.0 innings in relief, in which he struck out 12 batters… With two outs, NEC hitters were held to a .182 batting average.
Before Wagner
Played two years at Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, CA... As a member of the Dons, he appeared in 27 games over his two-year stint, while making two career starts... In 2016, he went 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA in 27.0 innings... Struck out 12 batters during the season, with his highest strikeout total coming at home against Oxnard (1/30), as he struck out a career-best three in preserving an 8-7 victory... Recorded his lone save of the year against Cypress (4/21), tossing three innings, giving up two hits while not allowing a run in closing out a 5-1 victory... In 2017, he made 12 appearances, going 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA over 16.2 innings... Helped the Dons to a 29-17 record... Earned the Scholastic Achievement Award for holding a cumulative grade-point average of 3.96... Was a two-sport athlete, having been a member of the men's water polo team and earned Freshman of the Year honors.... Before arriving at Santa Ana, was a three-year varsity member of the Warren High School baseball team...Â
