The Green and White earned a wire-to-wire victory in taking a 2-0 lead on three hits in the second inning of the contest.
After Carlucci worked a walk, freshman
Ashley Lubisky (Jenkintown, PA / Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) took over as the pinch runner and advanced on a wild pitch, before scoring on an
Alyssa Tucker (Laguna Niguel, CA / Santa Margarita Catholic) single. Two batters later, sophomore
Karen Prihoda (Hamilton Square, NJ / The Lawrenceville School) doubled to left center, allowing freshman
Kat Holmes-Stall (Trabuco Canyon, CA / Santa Margarita Catholic) to score all the way from first base.
Utah Valley scored in the bottom half of the second inning and had multiple chances to tie the score. In the fourth, the Wolverines managed three base hits, but junior
Morgan Brown (Buckeye, AZ / Verrado) in the circle was able to get the opposition to ground into a double play as well as a groundout, with two runners in scoring position, to end the threat.
After two walks to begin the fifth inning, Carlucci then delivered the biggest hit of the game, a three-run shot to left field with one out to give Wagner a 5-1 lead.
The Wolverines doubled their run total in the fifth inning, but it wasn't enough, as Brown earned the complete-game victory in the circle as the Green and White moves to 2-11 on the season.
Wagner combined for 11 hits in game two, as Tredway, Prihoda, and freshman Amelia van Orman (Orange, CA / Lutheran High School of Orange County) each had multi-hit games.

Kaila Smith (Millville, NJ / Millville) then singled to left, allowing Tredway to come around to score.
The visitors regained the lead in the fourth on a home run and ended the game with seven runs in the fifth inning to secure the victory.
Senior
