In his second year on the gridiron, Greg Senat is looking to build on a season that saw him make a successful transition from the Wagner basketball team.

2016: Starting all 11 games at right tackle, this imposing physical specimen helped solidify an offensive line unit that paved the way for the Seahawks to finish second in the NEC in scoring (29.7), passing offense (257.8) and No. 1 in turnover margin (+7.1) and first downs (131) … Used his height and explosiveness to block a field goal attempt at Central Connecticut (10/15) … Anthropology major who was a member of both the 2016 NEC Fall and Winter Honor Rolls.

Wagner Basketball Career: A four-year power forward for the Seahawks … Member of the 2016 NEC regular season basketball championship team, helping the Seahawks to a 23-11 record and the school's first-ever postseason tournament victory, over St. Bonaventure, in the first round of the NIT … Grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds against Central Connecticut back (1/14/15) … Off the court, nominated for the NABC Good Works Team and represented Wagner and the NEC at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in 2015.

Before Wagner: While enjoying an outstanding basketball career at Elmont HS, and before spending a year at Marianapolis Prep, he also competed at tight end for two years at Elmont ... Member of the Spartans' jayvee football team as a sophomore in 2009 before being elevated to the varsity as a junior in 2010 …Three-sport athlete who was a member of the Elmont lacrosse lacrosse, in addition to basketball and football … Transferred to Marianapolis Prep in 2010 where he focused solely on basketball.
