Buies Creek, NC – The Wagner College softball team suffered a 6-4 loss to Rider on the final day of the Camel Stampede Tournament, hosted by Campbell University.
The Seahawks, who finished the weekend with a 1-3 record, fell behind 3-0 in the first two innings, but fought their way back into the contest.

The Broncs, however, answered in the sixth inning, scoring two runs to earn the victory.
Wagner combined for seven hits throughout the contest, with graduate student
Penelope Russ recording two hits.

Eve Harvey was charged with the loss after going the distance, striking out four batters in the process.
Next up, Wagner will travel to the West Coast to take on UC Santa Barbara, Cal Baptist, and UC Riverside on March 3-5.
