Staten Island, NY – Wagner College has announced that head women's basketball coach Lisa Cermignano will not return for the 2016-17 season.
 
"We thank Lisa for her dedication and hard work at Wagner, appreciate her diligent efforts and commitment to our student-athletes over the past four years, and wish her nothing but the best in the future," said Director of Athletics Walt Hameline.
 
Prior to her arrival at Wagner in 2011, Cermignano served as an assistant coach at Illinois, Vanderbilt, George Washington, Monmouth and Maryland.
 
A national search for her replacement begins immediately.
