Somerset, NJ – Wagner has been tabbed to finish fifth in the Northeast Conference (NEC) this season, according to the annual preseason poll conducted by the league's seven coaches.
Bryant, which won last year's regular season and tournament titles, earned six of a possible seven first-place votes and was selected to again be the "Team to Beat in 2014."
Last year's runner-up, Sacred Heart garnered the lone remaining first-place vote and was selected second.
Central Connecticut was picked third, followed by LIU Brooklyn and Wagner.
Rounding out the poll is Mount St. Mary's in sixth and Fairleigh Dickinson in seventh.
The top four teams qualify for the NEC Tournament, which will be held in Norwich, CT, from May 22-25.
Wagner will call
Richmond County Bank Ballpark home for the seventh-straight year, playing 18 games there in 2014.
