New York, NY - Rising senior guard Tyler Murray (Toronto, Ontario / Eastern Commerce) was profiled by renowned basketball publication SLAM Magazine (August 2011, issue 150) in the "Picture Me Ball'n" section. Click HERE to see the actual article.

"Picture Me Ball'n" spotlights under-the-radar players who according to the magazine, "Demand Your Attention." Murray is joined in the section by fellow Canadian Saint Bonaventure's Andrew Nicholson and San Diego's Dominique Conners.

According to SLAM, "Mirroring his Seahawks, who more than doubled their win total from the '10 to '11 season, Murray's numbers jumped astronomically from his sophomore to junior season. When all was said and done, the 6-5 guard ended the season with averages of 16.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals, all of which culminated in his being named First Team All-Conference. If last season serves as an indicator, Murray looks poised to take a run at Conference Player of the Year honors for '11-'12."
