Staten Island, NY - Wagner head baseball coach
Joe Litterio has announced that the Seahawks' baseball program will be hosting a pair of Little League days at Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
The first Little League day is slated for Saturday, April 30 when Wagner hosts Saint Joseph's at 4:00 pm. Members of the Beauvais-Hudson team out of the South Shore Little League will be announced and take the field with the Seahawk players before the first game of the doubleheader against the Hawks.
One week later on Saturday, May 7 will be the second Little League day. Prior to Wagner's 1:00 pm doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson, the Bottom of the 9th Bulldogs, a 13 & under travel team, will be announced and take the field with the Seahawks before the first game against the Knights.
Posters of the Green & White baseball team will be given out to the Little Leaguers on both days.
“I think this is a great opportunity for our entire program to give back to the Staten Island community,” said Litterio.
The Seahawks are next in action on Thursday, April 28 when they host Iona at 3:30 pm.
