Staten Island, NY - Thanks to the generosity of former Wagner College offensive lineman
Marc Lebovitz, now a highly successful New Jersey businessman, Wagner College Stadium is the beneficiary of a striking new state-of-the-art scoreboard.
Lebovitz, a member of the Seahawks' 1987 Division III National Championship football team, graduated in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is a supporter of Wagner College's Chai Society, the Sal Alberti Scholarship Fund, the Joe Jilts Memorial Alumni Golf Outing and the Seahawk Club.
The new scoreboard is manufactured by Eversan Scoreboards, considered to be one of the nation's leading providers of athletic scoreboards. Standing almost 30 feet high and 32 feet wide, the new scoreboard will be able to display color video as well as game statistics.
The scoreboard represents a major facility upgrade for the Seahawk football program, which was picked to finish first in the Northeast Conference (NEC) this season by Sporting News Magazine. Other Wagner teams that play their games in the stadium and will benefit from the new scoreboard include women's soccer, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse.
“I have watched, with great pride, Wagner College continue to develop and transform its position as a top tier private college in the Northeast,” said Lebovitz. “Donating a brand new state of the art video scoreboard was a way for me to help make a difference in the College and its first class Athletic Department. GO SEAHAWKS!”

The company focuses on supply chain logistics solutions for small to multi-national companies, primarily servicing the food & beverage industry. He serves as President and oversees all strategic and day-to-day aspects of the Company.
Lebovitz was recently recognized by NJBIZ, is an officer with NJ Young Presidents' Organization and is a Board Member of Fenway Partners Group.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Wagner College in 1991. Lebovitz and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of four children: Zachary, Emily, Jeremy and Natalie.
“We are extremely grateful to Marc Lebovitz and his entire family for generously underwriting the cost of our beautiful new scoreboard,”
Walt Hameline, the athletic director and head football coach at Wagner College. “The scoreboard will dramatically enhance the game day experience for our many loyal Seahawk fans. Once again we send many thanks to the Lebovitz family for making this a reality.”
