Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College football staff will be putting on its annual One-Day Camp for interested students in grades 9-12 at the Wagner College Stadium on August 10, from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
The four-hour camp offers young athletes the opportunity to be trained and instructed by the Wagner coaching staff, where they will go through offensive and defensive positional drills and have one-on-one competitions with fellow campers to fuel their competitive edge.
The camp is directed by Wagner Athletic Director and head football coach
Walt Hameline, who enters his 30th year at the helm of the Seahawks team. Carrying an impressive 195-110-2 record into the 2010 campaign, Hameline led the 1987 Seahawk team to a National Championship title, defeating Dayton University 19-3.
Campers will play on the Wagner College Stadium field, with the state-of-the-art field turf surface.
