Staten Island, NY - The general public will have a chance to get their first look at the 2009-2010 Wagner College men's basketball team when the Seahawks host McMaster University, one of the top five programs in Canada, on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 3:00 pm at the Spiro Sports Center. 

This marks the first of two exhibition games that the Seahawks wil play. On Sunday, November 8, Wagner will host Pace University in a 2:00 pm tip-off. These two games will offer Seahawk fans their first glimpse of many new faces as seven of Wagner's 14 players are freshmen.

Wagner will officially open the season on Friday, November 13 at Lafayette College. The home opener for the Seahawks will be on Saturday, November 21 when the Seahawks play host to Stony Brook in a 7:00 pm start.

A highlight of the 2009-10 campaign will be four games in the Las Vegas Classic, with the first two games being played on campus sites and the final two games taking place in Las Vegas. The Seahawks will play at BYU on Dec. 17 and at Nevada on Dec. 19. All eight teams (Wagner, BYU, Nevada, Chicago St., Eastern Washington, Jackson St., Nebraska and Tulsa) will then converge in Las Vegas.
