Junior Season (2024-25): Reached three podiums at the NEC Championships, which included the 800-yard freestyle relay, the 1,650-yard freestyle, and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Sophomore Season (2023-24): Placed first in the 500-yard in seven different meets, including the Harold Anderson Invitational and the NEC championships, helping the Seahawks finish first and claim both titles... Placed 1st in the 1000-yard freestyle in five different meets... Placed 1st in the 1,650-yard freestyle in both the Harold Anderson Invitational and the NEC championships... Earned one NEC Swimmer of the Week nod.

Freshman Season (2022-23): Ended his first collegiate season with six first place finishes... Took the top spot in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NEC Championship, which marked the first first place finish at the meet in program history... Made more program history as a part of the third place 800-yard freestyle relay team, which clinched the program's first podium placement at the event... At the ECAC Championships, Van Gool finished second in the 1650-freestyle (16:01.88) and third in the 500-yard freestyle A final (4:35.32).
