Wagner College Athletics

Junior Season (2024-25): Placed 4th in the 1000-yard freestyle at the LIU-Manhattan tri-meet, and 5th in the 200-yard backstroke against Binghamton... Placed 7th in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NEC Championships.

Sophomore Season (2023-24): Placed 3rd in the 100-yard backstroke and the 500-yard freestyle against LIU; Schaeffer improved to 2nd place in the 500-yard freestyle in the rematch against LIU... Placed 2nd in the 400-yard freestyle relay in the third and final meet against LIU... Reached two podiums at the NEC Championships, a 3rd place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, and the 1,650-yard freestyle races, helping the Seahawks win the NEC Title.

Freshman Season (2022-23): Earned first place three times at the LIU meet... Clocked in at 1:43.48 in the 200-yard freestyle, earned first in the 200-yard backstroke (1:55.57) and capped off the trifecta with a first place finish as a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team... At the NEC Championship, he was a part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that secured the program its first ever podium placement at the NECs.

Before Wagner: Was named MVP for his high school swim team... Was a member of the National Honor society.... Was a county champion in the 100 Yard Backstroke and in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, and placed second in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
