Altoona, PA -  Competing in their first-ever Championship Sunday format, the Wagner College women's bowling team concluded the three-day Red Flash Invite in seventh place after going 1-2 on the final day of competition.

All three matches on Sunday were a Best of Seven formats, and the Seahawks were pushed to the max, as all three matches went to a seventh game.

Coach's Corner – Head Coach Joseph Ambrose
" The Red Flash Invite was a great experience for our team. All three matches went to seven games. Things like handling pressure and better shot selections will only come in time as we continue to grow as a program. I was tremendously proud of how our team responded in the final match (against Bloomfield) where we were down 3-1 and battled back to win the match."

"We are back on the lanes this weekend for our second conference meet of the season (NEC #2). It is always a competitive weekend of bowling when we are locked in for conference action."
