Staten Island, NY - After a slow start to the 2012 season, the resugrent Seahawks softball team opens its Northeast Conference schedule this weekend, hosting Saint Francis (PA) and Robert Morris at the Wagner field.

Due to projected rain, Wagner's doubleheader against the Red Flash on Saturday has been moved from its original 1:00 p.m. start to an 11:00 a.m. first pitch. Sunday's NEC action against the Colonials is still schduled for a noon start.

The Seahawks (6-16, 0-0 NEC) look to keep their momentum rolling this weekend, having won five of their last eight games in their annual spring trip to Florida last week. Wagner is currently on a two-game win streak, defeating the Bison of Howard University in a two-game set on Sunday, March 18.
