Harrison Transfers To Wagner From Delaware

Staten Island, NY - Wagner coach Gela Mikalauskas announced that Sha'Ron Harrison has transferred to Wagner from the University of Delaware. Harrison played the last two seasons with the Blue Hens and will redshirt the upcoming season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in the 2009-2010 season.

Staten Island, NY - Wagner College head women's basketball coach Gela Mikalauskas has announced the hiring of former Saint Joseph's (PA) standout Whitney Ffrench as a graduate-assistant coach for the upcoming season. She replaces Christine Catalanotto, who recently completed her graduate studies before accepting a full-time position with the Manhattan Lady Jaspers coaching staff.

Somerset, NJ - The Northeast Conference announced its Winter Academic Honor Roll, for the 2007-2008 academic year with Wagner College making up 37 of the 382 student-athletes on the list. All members of the honor roll must have maintained a minimum cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 and participated with distinction as a member of a varsity team.

The Seahawks move to 7-21, 5-12 NEC but now only need a win this Monday night at home to clinch a playoff spot in the NEC tournament after Monmouth defeated Mount St. Mary's today, 70-66.
