Covington, VA - Rising junior Joe Conforti was named the Valley League's All-Star Game MVP for the North. The speedy outfielder broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh inning with a two-run home run in his only at-bat of the game. The game would end in a 5-5 tie as the South scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth. (more)
