Staten Island, NY – Head coach Gela Mikalauskas announced the 2009-2010 Wagner women's basketball non-conference slate, which features 11 games, including one in-season tournament. The Green & White will play three games at home and eight on the road.

The Seahawks will matchup with four teams from the Patriot League, including the top-three finishers from a year ago. Wagner will also play two teams from the MAAC with singles games scheduled against schools from the American East, BIG EAST, Great West and Ivy conferences with potential games against the Atlantic 10 and Summit conferences.

The Green & White will kick off the season with three games on the road, starting with a Friday, November 13 tilt at Army before heading to NJIT (11/17) and Colgate (11/21). Wagner then welcomes Siena on Tuesday, November 24 in its home opener. American, which finished second in the Patriot League last year and played in the WNIT, invades the Spiro Sports Center on Saturday, November 28.

Wagner returns to the road on Wednesday, December 2 with a game at BIG EAST power Syracuse. After their traditional December NEC game, the Seahawks host Columbia (12/8) before heading to Albany (12/8) and Saint Peter's (12/21). The Green & White will conclude their non-conference slate with games at the Lehigh Tournament (12/29-12/30). Wagner will take on the host Mountain Hawks, which won the 2008-2009 Regular Season and Tournament championships, in the first game before facing either St. Bonaventure, which advanced to the Elite 8 of the NIT, or IUPUI.

The Seahawks return 10 student-athletes from last year's team, including four that started at least 10 games.
