Somerset, NJ- Senior captain
Alexandra Tomlinson (Telford, PA/ Souderton) has been named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Swimmer of the Week for her performance in the Frank Elm Super Splash, hosted by Rutgers University last weekend.
Tomlinson had an impressive showing last weekend as she turned in a second-place finish in the 1650 freestyle event. Clocking in at 17:24.29, Tomlinson stands at the top of the NEC, along with her 1:56.69 performance in the 200 free and her 5:05.12, time in the 500 free. The distance specialist also swam the first leg of the Green & White's third-place 800 free relay team (7:57.07).
"Alex did a great job this past weekend both from a performance standpoint and also as a leader,” said head coach
Mark Sowa. “I think she was more happy with her teammates than with her own swims."
Wagner is idle until Saturday, January 24 when the Seahawks host Sacred Heart and celebrate Senior Day.
