Midfielder #Lindsay Hashmall# (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) and goalies #Amy Jones# (Jarrettsville, MD/North Harford) and #Alex Johnston# (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville) were among 407 student-athletes at 152 institutions recognized for their excellence in the classroom during the 2008-09 academic year by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association (IWLA).

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has honored the Wagner College women’s lacrosse program with the distinction of Division I Merit Status as the Seahawks earned the highest team Grade Point Average among all Division I institutions that compete in women’s lacrosse.

Women’s Lax Drops 10-9 Heartbreaker in 3-Overtime Thriller at 1st-Place Sacred Heart
FAIRFIELD, CT –
The Wagner College women’s lacrosse team gave Sacred Heart, one of the Northeast Conference’s (NEC) top teams, a huge fight, taking an early 9-8 lead in overtime before the Pioneers rallied for a 10-9 win in three overtimes this afternoon.
